2001/02 Alan Smith Leeds United Match Worn UEFA Cup Short Sleeve Home shirt, worn away 1st November 2001 v. Troyes. Embroidered club badge, embroidered manufacturers logo, embossed sponsor, felt player-size numbers/letters (European specification), no dri-fit label on sleeve (player shirts only). A stunning shirt that was worn by Smithy v Troyes.
This shirt is very unique as it does not have the ‘Strongbow’ sponsor on the front. This is because France regulations do not allow alcohol sponsorship on football shirts. Therefore Leeds were required to produce a sponsor less version for the game, the only match this shirt was ever used.
