It’s what Leeds have worn as their away kits for donkeys years with OP big cheese Nige reckoning the 70s kits being the cream of the crop in particular.Yellow and blue is a strong yet hard to find adidas colour combo. Some of the very best adidas shoes such as Malmo, Malmo mesh and the Runner Super are yellow with blue stripes.As for the shape, much like the Lotherton SPZL and the Oi Polloi Ardwick SPZL the Elland SPZL takes on a shape based on the California (or Topanga as its now known due to trademark issues).Also, the timing is pretty much spot on for this shoe too with Leeds returning to the Premier League after a long absence.
