On offer here is the original, unused Arsenal application form for 1 standing ticket for the 1972 FA Cup Final, issued by AFC.
The form was to be used to apply for a 1 Standing Ticket, whereby fans could complete and apply by attaching the Cup Final Tokens that had been collected from programmes throughout the season.
To be in with a chance, you needed to have collected all 24 Cup Final Tokens and attach them to this form, submitted with cheque and stamped addressed envelope! It states those who have collected most tokens would be given preferential treatment.
A nice, unused memento of how things used to be done in the olden days before modern technology.
At time of writing, I also have an unused 1971 FA Cup Final ticket application form on my other auctions.
