Official match programme from the Leeds United v York City League (Littlewoods) Cup 2nd Round 1st Leg fixture played at Elland Road on Wednesday 23rd September 1987. The match ended in a 1-1 draw with Leeds eventually winning 5-1 on aggregate. As well as the match programme as a bonus I am also including a large broadsheet detailed match report that appeared in the Yorkshire Post newspaper on Thursday 24th September 1987 (the day after the match). The glossy 24-page programme is in outstanding near mint condition having been read once since the match before being safely stored for the last 33 years. The large newspaper cutting has been kept inside the programme throughout that time and is also in near mint condition.
